Pickles is a pizza, pasta and lasagna restaurant on Seojeon-ro in Jeonpo, Busanjin-gu, Busan. On a weekday visit at 1pm the order was a half-and-half pizza with jamón on one side and taco on the other plus a cream pasta set, and the staff explained how to dip the crust ends in salt and hot sauce. Even with a wait, Pickles is worth it for a date or a get-together with friends.
Hets Jeonpo Branch is a tonkatsu restaurant with bar-counter seating on the second floor along Jeonpo-daero in Busanjin, Busan. After registering ahead on CatchTable and arriving for a late lunch, only one group was waiting, so the seat came right away, and the order was hire katsu (pork tenderloin cutlet) and loin katsu served with truffle oil and corn dressing. If the roughly one-hour peak-time wait at Hets Jeonpo feels like too much, a late lunch booked on CatchTable is the answer.
