Gyeongju dessert shop with lip-tint-size walnut pastries: Buja Hodu
Buja Hodu is a walnut pastry (hodu-gwaja) shop on Hwangnidan-gil in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk, where rice dough is filled with whole walnuts and low-sugar fillings. The Buja Hodu menu board lists four fillings — low-sugar red bean, pea cream cheese, matcha and almond praline — plus real red ginseng tea and walnut ice cream, and each pastry taken home by the box turned out as big and plump as a lip tint tube.
