Busan Korean gastropub for beef intestine hot pot after work: Jansang
Jansang is a Korean gastropub in the Deokcheon food alley of Buk-gu, Busan. After work, the writer and her husband took an outdoor, food-stall-style table at Jansang and ordered the house best-seller woosamgyeop daechang jeongol (thin-sliced beef and beef intestine hot pot, 28,000 won) plus myeongran mayo shrimp stir-fry (16,000 won); the intestine was plump and the broth was cleaner and lighter than expected. Anyone who wants a fiery, spicy broth may be disappointed, but both dishes went well with soju or beer.
