In short
Ho Samchon Yeongdeungpo Main Branch is a gastropub on the 2nd floor of a building in the food alley by Exit 5 of Yeongdeungpo Station, Seoul. The writer ordered boneless chicken for 19,900 won and beef brisket bibim noodles for 18,000 won with beer, and found the lightly battered chicken paired well with the bibim noodle sauce, which cuts the grease. A lot of people are looking for a bar near Yeongdeungpo Station with good anju (drinking snacks) and a clean vibe, right? Today I'm posting my review of Ho Samchon Yeongdeungpo Main Branch, a bar and grill known by word of mouth for its tasty food!
Getting to Ho Samchon Yeongdeungpo Main Branch and opening hours

[ Open daily 19:00–02:00, last order 01:30 ] Come out Exit 5 of Yeongdeungpo Station and head into the main street of the food alley — Ho Samchon's distinctively moody sign is easy to spot tucked between the shops. It's close to the station, so it's a convenient meeting spot.
🅿️ If you're driving, I'd recommend the private lot near Yeongdeungpo Station or the Times Square parking lot. Coming by public transit is easiest though.
✅ Watch the peak times — Friday evenings and weekends tend to have waits, so unless you're arriving before 6 PM, I'd recommend booking ahead on Naver Reservations.

When you go up to the 2nd floor, you'll find a door shaped like a phone booth — just push it, haha! Push it pretty hard!
Is Ho Samchon good for a team dinner? The interior
The tables were spaced well enough for conversation, and it felt like a space that would suit both a get-together with Yeongdeungpo friends or a work dinner. They also do birthday events, so it's a great spot for a birthday gathering or a Yeongdeungpo party venue!

The lighting is soft, making it a perfect vibe for a drink or two — great for a Yeongdeungpo date spot too. The staff were friendly the whole time, which made the meal even more pleasant.
- ✅ On weekends, if the store is fully booked, there's a 3-hour limit
- ✅ Group bookings available weekdays and weekends — call the store to inquire

What we ordered: boneless chicken, 19,900 won

Boneless chicken, ₩19,900. A solid, no-frills chicken with a crispy outside and moist inside. Dipped in the sauce that comes with it, it goes great with beer or a highball.

Being boneless, it was easy to eat, and the chicken wasn't dry at all! The batter wasn't too thick, so it didn't feel greasy — a menu item that really went well with beer.

The fries that came alongside were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, a perfect match with the chicken. Their salty flavor also worked great as a beer snack, and it felt much more filling than eating the chicken alone.

Beef brisket bibim noodles, 18,000 won
Beef brisket bibim noodles, ₩18,000. A combination of nicely grilled beef brisket and spicy-sweet bibim noodles. The brisket was piled on generously and paired really well with the tangy-sweet noodle sauce.

The bibim noodle sauce neatly cuts through the fattiness the brisket could otherwise have. Eaten alongside the chicken, the balance of sweet-salty and spicy was fantastic 👍

With the brisket piled generously on top of the noodles, it looked delicious just to look at. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, soaking up the sauce well, and the brisket was tender rather than tough, making for a great texture eaten together with the noodles.

The spiciness isn't overwhelming, so even people who don't handle spicy food well should be able to enjoy it, and it really suits being a drinking snack.
