What kind of cleansing product did I need for dehydrated oily skin?

I have dehydrated oily skin and fairly large pores, so I pay close attention to sebum care. I usually used cleansing oil rather than cleansing water to remove makeup, but after using oil, my eyes sometimes felt cloudy and uncomfortable, or even turned red from irritation.

This time, I tried HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm, a balm-type cleanser.

What were the texture and application like?

It looked like a firm solid balm, but it immediately melted softly when I rubbed it between my hands. Even after applying it to my face, it felt easy to spread rather than melting and running down.

- I scooped out an appropriate amount with the spatula and applied it to my face.
- I rolled it over my face for 30 seconds until it melted with my body heat.
- I added water and emulsified it for 30 seconds, then rinsed several times.

One scoop of the spatula was enough for cleansing, and afterward, I could store the spatula by fitting it into the lid.

Did my eyes feel cloudy or did my skin feel tight after cleansing?

When I used it, it felt more hydrating than the oily stickiness I associate with cleansing oils while rolling it over my skin. I could feel my makeup coming off, and although I worried my skin would feel tight after cleansing, it felt moisturized to me without inner dryness.

In particular, I did not experience the cloudy feeling in my eyes that I had experienced with my usual cleansing oil. That said, this is an observation based on my own experience.

Will I keep using it for sebum and blackheads?

I plan to use it consistently because sebum concerns me more in summer. The original product description introduced it as a sebum softener, but I did not judge any changes to blackheads or back acne from this one use alone.
