Haeundae bar for octopus-pork combo and seafood pancake: Namcheonjip
Namcheonjip is a bossam (boiled pork) and makgeolli bar in Haeundae, Busan, a 10-minute walk from Haeundae Beach near the Haeundae-gu Office. Four diners shared octopus samhap (octopus-pork-kimchi combo), seafood pancake, and bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles) with Saengtak and Neurin Maeul makgeolli — the bossam was tender with no gamey taste, and the seafood pancake came out spicy yet clean-tasting in its long rectangular shape. There's a wait even on weeknights, so booking ahead through the Tabling app is worth it.
