Seongsu bar for lobster butter grill and highballs: Syudo Jaewon
Syudo Jaewon is an izakaya in Seongdong, Seoul, serving kappo-style Japanese dishes alongside European-inspired cooking. I visited for a second round of drinks and had lobster butter grill with a house highball at the calm, black-toned open kitchen. Verdict: a lovely anniversary-date spot, and I’m coming back for the sashimi.
