Didi's Pizza Pub Jongno Main Branch is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Jonggak Station, in a ground-floor shop in Doosan We've Pavilion. Even walking slowly with a child from Kyobo Book Centre, it's close, so it's an easy stop for baseball after a day out in Gwanghwamun.

The pub is split into two units in the same building, and I heard they expanded because so many customers came. There's also an outdoor terrace out front. It was a bit chilly that day and, above all, we needed to see the TV, so we went inside 🍂

The first thing I noticed when we walked in was the big TV on the wall. The game was already on, and every table was eating pizza while watching the screen. What I loved is that the mood is completely different from watching alone at home.

We ordered a large "Double Delicious Thin Pizza," where you can pick four flavors on one pie. Since we'd be eating while watching the game, pizza you can grab with one hand was perfect, and I picked it because it covers both a kid's taste and a mom's taste.

Here's our combo 👇 pepperoni / spicy chicken / Hawaiian / gorgonzola. The dough is thin and crisp, so it was easy to pick up a slice at a time during the game, and even though it was a large, it didn't feel heavy.

At Didi's Pizza Pub, my daughter had a drink and I had a glass of draft beer. A bite of pizza, a sip of beer, a moment of baseball. My legs, tired from standing while choosing books, finally relaxed, and watching my daughter clap beside me, I couldn't think of a better way to end a Gwanghwamun date.
