Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong in Samsan, Nam-gu, Ulsan, is a great spot for chicken and draft beer.
Today I visited Daehan Beer House's Daldong branch. I loved the combo of chicken and cream draft beer here, and there's a big screen inside, so it looks like a good place to watch a sports game too. I'd also recommend it for get-togethers.

Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong is open every day from 17:00 to 01:00 the next day, with last order at 12:00 a.m. On Mondays, the posted hours were 18:00–24:00.

The exterior is clean and eye-catching enough to spot from far away. It has full glass windows, and seeing it packed with customers got me excited.
Is Daehan Beer House good for company dinners and group gatherings?
Inside Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong, there were more seats than I expected, and the long straight tables looked ideal for group gatherings or company dinners. I went early, yet it was already busy, so you can feel how popular it is.
I actually saw several groups enjoying a company dinner together.
They also have baby chairs, so families visiting with kids can use it comfortably too.
Daehan Beer House menu and free fried nurungji snack
The signature menu at Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong has lots of chicken varieties, and plenty of other anju (food to go with drinks) besides chicken.
The complimentary side was fried nurungji (scorched rice crisps). They're seasoned sweet and salty on the surface, so they're perfect to pick at before the main dishes arrive. Sweet-salty-sweet-salty! 💕
Cass cream draft beer for 4,500 won
The cold Cass cream draft beer (₩4,500) came out right away too. It's full of creamy foam and goes down smoothly.

What does the cauldron squid chicken taste like?
Daehan Beer House's signature cauldron squid chicken (gamasot ojingeo chicken) comes with crispy fried chicken and appetizing fried squid piled on one plate. The look of it is insane. 👀 It seemed enough to work as a meal, not just drinking food.
The chicken was classic fried style, crispy outside and juicy inside. The skin was fried super crispy, which made it fun to bite into.
The squid that came with it was huge. It was chewy without being tough, with a great texture that went well with the crispy batter. If you want crispy chicken and chewy squid in one go, I recommend the cauldron squid chicken at Daehan Beer House‼️
Cream cheese hot-pot Gyeongseong chicken: go boneless
The Gyeongseong chicken that came next is a hot-pot (ttukbaegi, earthenware pot) dish combining rich cream sauce, cheese and spicy chicken. It takes a little while to cook, so be ready to wait, and since they recommended eating it boneless, I ordered the boneless version.
The pot is extremely hot, so be careful not to touch it!

The cheese stretched so much that even moving some onto my small plate was a struggle. 😋
One bite and it's smooth, rich cream sauce with loads of savory cheese 🤍 I thought a cream sauce would be heavy, but the spicy seasoning cuts the richness and boosts the savoriness. Overall it reminded me of rosé sauce, and that thick, smooth flavor was impressive.
The sauce was so good that I scraped the pot clean 🤭
Song requests and a big screen for watching sports
Another great thing about Daehan Beer House Ulsan Daldong is that you can request the songs you want to hear. Scan the QR code on each table and request, and they play 3 songs per person.
There's also a big screen in the middle of the hall, so it's perfect when you want beer and chicken while watching a sports broadcast (Junggye) like baseball or soccer.

With roomy seating and a lively atmosphere, Daehan Beer House was easy to enjoy for company dinners, get-togethers and family meals. The cauldron squid chicken paired crispy chicken with chewy squid, and the Gyeongseong chicken blended cream sauce, cheese and spice into a rosé-like flavor. Add the smooth cream draft beer and it made for a satisfying meal and drink. 🍺🍗🦑✨
