Songdo outlet chicken restaurant for a family of three: Angry Potato

I usually go to Songdo Hyundai Outlet on weekends~ and I noticed Angry Potato had opened, the place famous for its super tasty chewy potato! It's only been open a month, so this is a truly fresh Songdo find — here's my honest review!!

Where is Angry Potato in Songdo Hyundai Outlet, and what are its hours?

Angry Potato Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is open daily from 10:30 to 21:00, closed only on Lunar New Year and Chuseok. There's a free chicken coupon on Naver Coupon! Worth checking before you visit!!

Angry Potato is on the basement 1st floor of the Songdo outlet. It's near Burger King on the food court side, so it's easy to find!

I'd heard the potato menu, hot dogs and chicken here are all supposedly amazing, so I was really looking forward to it ><

They also sell a huge bag of potato chips. It's called Angry Potato Chips, and it's a pure potato chip with no chemical additives!

There aren't many of these around the country, so I was so happy one opened near my home in Songdo, Incheon!

There are set menus too, and you can order items individually. But honestly the portions are beast-sized.

They start cooking as soon as you order, and eating it piping hot made it taste even better to us.

The free sauce bar with 7 sauces at Angry Potato

One special thing here is the free sauce bar! There are a whopping 7 kinds of sauce. From chili and chipotle to diablo hot sauce, Chicago grill, wasabi mayo and more — you can pour as much as you want over your food and take it with you.

We ordered for one kid and two adults, and we really ate until we were stuffed!

It was my first time trying it, and I felt like it would quickly become known as a Songdo must-visit. Makes sense — the portions are seriously no joke..

Big Crunch hot dog: big enough for two to share

The Big Crunch hot dog has mac and cheese macaroni and seasoned chicken piled inside the hot dog, then more cheese sauce drizzled on top. It's genuinely huge. And delicious. It's the kind of size where two people could order one and share it and still be full! Totally gave off American vibes.

What does Angry Potato's chewy potato taste like?

First bite of the chewy potato! My pick and my kid's pick too. It's not just a roasted potato — the outside is crispy but the inside has a chewy, rice-cake-like texture. It goes well with mayo sauce, it goes well dipped in spicy sauce, honestly it's amazing dipped in any sauce bb Looking at these photos right now makes me want it again ㅠㅠ

Chipotle chicken and whole mozzarella cheese sticks

And this chipotle chicken! It's already seasoned so it's basically salty on its own, but dipping it in hot sauce made it truly special! And the batter is super crispy, like crunch chips!

Whole mozzarella cheese sticks, ordered for my cheese-stick-loving kid! It felt like three regular cheese sticks combined into one. And the cheese inside is no joke ㅋㅋ it really stretches and stretches. Best eaten warm for maximum deliciousness.

Thick, rich mac and cheese! If you love that thick, rich style, I highly recommend it! I'm usually not a big mac and cheese person but I ate this happily~
