Men's 110 training set fit for broad shoulders: Everlast

Coupang provided this product, and my boyfriend tried it on. We chose the Everlast Men's Mini Terry Training Set Hoodie Zip-Up + Straight-Leg Pants in melange gray, size 110 for both the top and bottoms.

Why did we choose this training set for going out?

My boyfriend is active, so he has lots of comfortable clothes. But some of them looked worn out or had very stretched knees, which was a shame when he wanted to wear them on weekend dates. We were looking for a set he could wear neatly even for a quick outing.

It arrived through Coupang, and I was pleased with the fast delivery and how safely it arrived. When I opened the package, the fabric felt substantial and the finishing looked neat.

How did size 110 fit a broad-shouldered build?

My boyfriend has broad shoulders and a solid build. His shoulders tend to feel tight and uncomfortable in his usual size 100 or 105 tops, so we chose 110 this time for room and ease of movement.

Were the hoodie zip-up shoulders and neck comfortable?

The size 110 hoodie zip-up had room through the shoulders. It had a drop-shoulder fit that fell naturally rather than puffing up or looking boxy.

To my eye, it made his shoulders look broader and more dependable. The fabric had enough structure that the hood kept its rounded shape whether he wore it up or pushed it back.

He said that even with the zipper pulled all the way up, it did not feel stuffy around his chin or neck. The melange gray also suited him well and made his complexion look brighter.

How roomy and long were the straight-leg pants?

For the bottoms, we chose straight-leg pants instead of joggers that cinch at the ankles. They fell straight from the hips and thighs down to the hems, making his legs look longer.

They were not so wide that they got in the way, nor did they cling to his legs; there was just the right amount of room. My boyfriend said they were comfortable for walking around too.

Even after sitting in a café for a long time and then getting up, the knee area did not look noticeably stretched out. The elastic waistband had stretch while still holding his stomach comfortably, and he could wear it easily after a meal too.

On my boyfriend, the hems of the size 110 pants were just about to cover his sneakers. They felt like a good length for slightly raised sneakers or white trainers.

How did the mini terry feel, and what happened after washing?

The fabric felt like a moderate weight—not too thick or too thin. The lining had dense loops, like a towel.

Even my boyfriend, who tends to have sensitive skin, said it felt soft and comfortable against bare skin without any scratchiness. Throughout the weekend it was provided, he kept saying it was light and easy to move around in.

Even after several washes, it did not pill easily, and the fabric's structure and fit stayed intact. Within the scope of my use, there was not much change in shape after washing.

Is it good for wearing the top and bottoms separately too?

Wearing the top and bottoms as a set was easy, and the simple design also worked well with other clothes separately.

For the hoodie zip-up, I would recommend a slightly longer plain white T-shirt underneath, with the hem peeking out a little. When it is chilly, you could also layer a roomy long coat or padded vest over it.

I thought the straight-leg pants would pair nicely with a sweatshirt in another color, a roomy knit, or a checked shirt. Seeing my boyfriend wear them comfortably all weekend, they suited exactly what we had been looking for: clothes for easy outings.
