What are the sushi, rolls and sashimi like at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch?
This branch isn't a Kuu Kuu Gold, but the menu is hugely varied and the quality was honestly good!! The roll sushi came in so many kinds, and the snowflake cheese salmon roll and the salmon tuna roll looked really delicious 🤍

There was also monkfish foie gras gunkan (seaweed-wrapped sushi boat), which I bet is insanely good...🤍

The sashimi included smoked salmon, red seabream and yellowfin tuna!! The slices were nice and thick, so good, hehe. There was also mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), soy-marinated crab, soy-marinated shrimp, and even kkomak bibimbap (seasoned cockle rice bowl), and the quality of all of it was good 🤍
The sushi selection was huge: raw salmon, sirloin, unagi rice bowl-style sushi, seared salmon, cheese salmon, flounder, tuna, yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) seared sushi, lemon shrimp, soy shrimp and more. It's a sushi buffet, but there isn't much rice on each piece, so you can eat lots of different kinds, which I loved!

Fine for kids who don't eat sushi? Hot dishes at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
The hot dishes at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch were plentiful and tasty: pork ribs, buffalo sticks, kkanpunggi (sweet and spicy fried chicken), smoked pork belly, dongpo pork, guobaorou (sweet and sour fried pork), eight treasures stir-fry, plus pizza, pasta and Korean snack food like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). I think kids who don't like sushi would eat well here too 🤍

There were also quesadillas, lasagna, and the en croûte soup that Kuu Kuu's hot dishes are famous for, so keep that in mind if you're visiting 🤍

Among the hot dishes there were also the cute Kuung-i steamed buns, lol. They're filled with sweet red bean and are pretty good!!

You can also order jajang (black bean noodles), jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), udon, miso soup and naengmomil (cold soba) at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, so keep that in mind!!

Drinks and the chocolate fountain at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
Drinks at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch include basic sodas, teas, coffee, maesil (green plum) juice, lychee juice, sikhye (sweet rice drink), and papaya and gold kiwi slushes, so that's great 🤍

The plum juice and lychee juice were sweet and delicious, so I had them instead of soda, hehe.

There's also a chocolate fountain you can eat with marshmallows, and I think kids would absolutely love it 🤍
Size and seating at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch really is over 300 pyeong, so it's comfortable and spacious, and great for family gatherings, first birthday parties, company dinners and dates, hehe. There are also lots of large-group tables and seats, so it's good for eating solo too 🤍

What I actually piled on my plate: what was good?
As expected, there were so many menu items that I brought back plates full of all kinds of things!!

Salmon sashimi, salmon sushi, tuna sushi, beef sushi, seared salmon sushi, soy shrimp and lemon shrimp!! And for hot dishes I got buffalo wings, cream shrimp, tteokbokki, algon-i jjim (steamed roe dish) and dongpo pork, and honestly every single item was amazing 🤍

There was yukhoe too, and it was spicy and so good, hehe. The sushi quality is really good, so I totally recommend Kuu Kuu as a family gathering spot in Nowon...🤍

The soy-marinated crab and kkomak bibimbap were also so good. I wanted to try the mulhoe too, but I was too full, which was a shame!! I'll have to eat it next time I visit Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, hehe.
Fruit, desserts and ice cream at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch
After eating my fill, the last stop was dessert!! I finished with fruit and sweets at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, hehe. The fruit included orange, pineapple, Shine Muscat grapes, mango, watermelon, chamoe (Korean melon), grapefruit, lychee, rambutan and passion fruit!! For desserts there were gyeongdan (rice cake balls), doughnuts, cake, tiramisu, whipped cream rolls, egg tarts, jelly and more!!

The ice cream selection at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is huge too!! Strawberry, choco bonbon, vanilla, Cookies & Cream, popping star, melon sorbet and lemon sorbet, so it's perfect for dessert 🤍

When can you get the bead ice cream?
The bead ice cream at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is only served at weekday dinner and on weekends, so keep that in mind if you're visiting!! I totally recommend it...🤍

I happily polished off fruit and cake for dessert🤍 Of the fruit, lychee and watermelon were my favorites!! The cream puffs and cake were good too, so if you visit Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, give them a try🤍

Cookies & Cream, chocolate ice cream and bead ice cream made it a totally satisfying finish to the meal 🤍 The bead ice cream is a must when you visit Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch!!
