Six pork cuts on a charcoal grill in Guwol, Incheon: Euljiro Charcoal
In short
Euljiro Charcoal Grill Guwol Branch is a charcoal-grilled pork restaurant in Guwol-dong, Namdong, Incheon, right across from the Lotte Department Store on Rodeo Street. Ordering the pork one-geun set (600g mixed) brings six cuts — pork belly, pork neck, dwitgogi (pork shoulder cut), hangjeong (pork jowl), galmaegi (pork skirt meat), and gyeopdae (pork skin) — alongside a 2,500 won doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) and a vegetable-packed self-serve bar. In an era of high prices, this is a solid recommendation for a good-value meat meal in Guwol-dong.

Across from the Guwol-dong Lotte Department Store, suddenly craving pork belly
I was killing time at the Guwol-dong Lotte Department Store when I suddenly, desperately craved pork belly. The area right across from the department store has a well-developed restaurant street, so while figuring out where to go I found Euljiro Charcoal Grill Guwol Branch. It's literally just across the street from the department store, super easy to find, and located right on Guwol-dong's Rodeo Street — I thought the location was excellent.

I visited pretty much right at opening, and there were already one or two tables seated haha, which surprised me a bit. It always feels good to see customers already there at opening time — gives off that "this place is good" vibe!! I could tell the place would fill up fast, because they'd already lit the coals at every single table as part of getting ready to open.

Meat orders start at 300g, then add in 100g increments
Here's the meat menu. Only your first order needs to be 300g or more. After that, you can order in 100g increments! I think that's amazing. Being able to eat a variety of cuts is great news for people like me who like to try a little of everything ,, ><
I originally came to Euljiro Charcoal Grill Guwol Branch craving pork belly, but the moment I saw that menu, how could I possibly order just pork belly... I immediately went with the pork one-geun (600g mixed set). haha

Seafood menu, next time
Besides the meat menu, there was also a big seafood menu, and I was told the seafood is brought in that same day directly from Yeonan Pier so it's super fresh. But I had plans to meet someone at a seafood place right after, so I didn't order any this time. Next visit, I definitely want to have grilled shrimp along with the meat.. I'm a famous shrimp killer (seriously, truly a shrimp killer ㅠ). Scallops too....

How many cuts come in the 600g mixed set
I ordered the pork one-geun (600g mixed)! Usually at a Korean BBQ place, even a 600g mixed order gives you at most three cuts, but Euljiro Charcoal Grill's set comes with six: pork belly / pork neck / dwitgogi / hangjeong / galmaegi / gyeopdae. I'm moved again, sniff. I genuinely love eating a variety of things..........
And is it even real that the basic side dishes include both plain lettuce and seasoned lettuce? The lettuce is even endlessly refillable at the self-serve bar. Just make me cry, go on, make me cry.

Sides go all the way to Jjapaguri and Buldak Bokkeummyeon
The side menu is diverse too! Beyond the usual Korean BBQ side dishes, they even have Jjapaguri (black bean noodles) and Buldak Bokkeummyeon (spicy chicken noodles). I'm literally screaming. Ah!!! I should have come with a group instead of just the two of us. I wanted to eat so many more sides....

How was the meat quality
Obviously you eat the pork neck first, then the pork belly for the best flavor, right? I'm team pork belly haha. Everything was delicious, but... pork belly is the best. Since the price felt like such good value, honestly I wasn't expecting much from the meat itself, but everyone!!!!!!!! You can go in with high expectations. The meat quality is genuinely excellent. Great, just great.

The ₩2,500 doenjang jjigae has a seafood base
The doenjang jjigae is 2,500 won, has a seafood base, and is genuinely rich and delicious.. highly recommend. You need to order rice separately, but even with an added bowl of rice it's still only 3,500 won..? You must try this. ><ㅎ

The self-serve bar vegetables are piled high
I took a photo of the self-serve bar too >< Where else these days do you find a self-serve bar with vegetables piled up this generously, honestly. At the self-serve bar, let's only take as much as we'll actually eat!!! I even grabbed the soybean powder and thoroughly cleared every last bit, all the way through the gyeopdae, haha.

The dessert mul-naengmyeon portion is a total steal
For dessert I also ordered mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup). This one's also under five thousand won, and the portion is genuinely a steal. There is so, so much more noodle in this than the dessert naengmyeon at other Korean BBQ places .. hahahaha The egg is a quail egg, bonus ~ I don't eat boiled chicken egg, so this actually works out better for me ~

Wrap-up
Euljiro Charcoal Grill Guwol Branch — if you want to eat meat in Guwol-dong, I recommend rushing over right now! In this era of high prices, it's a place I highly recommend as a great-value Korean BBQ spot!!
