Suede work bag for winter: Meda Bag large shoulder bag

Why did I choose it as a winter work bag?

I used to carry an eco bag to work, but once the weather got cold, I found myself drawn to a suede bag with a winter feel. I considered several designs, then chose the Meda Bag Vintage Large-Capacity Suede Shoulder Bag because I liked its simple shape and reasonable price.

What were the price and included items like?

When I ordered it, it arrived within two days and was neatly packaged. Since I carry several things to work, such as a tablet, keyboard, and tumbler, I also had my eye on its generous size.

The doll keyring that came with it was nice for attaching to this simple bag. The bag has a soft hobo-bag shape, measuring 31 cm high, 35 cm wide, and 13 cm deep.

When I opened it, there was a mini pouch in the same color as the bag. It came in four colors—brown, camel, beige, and black—and I chose camel because it felt right for winter.

At the time of writing the original post, the shoulder bag, keyring, and phone pouch set was in the high ₩10,000s. Considering the set, the price did not feel burdensome, and I thought it would be easy to carry comfortably every day.

What are the inner storage and finishing like?

There are no separate storage compartments inside the bag. I kept small belongings separated in the pouch that came with it. The pouch has a neat black polyester lining, and I got the impression that it would not pill much either.

The inside was roomier than I expected, so it was good for putting in all sorts of things I need for work. I liked that the bag held its shape well even when I packed a lot into it.

The handle is leather, and the item I received was neatly finished without any loose threads.

The bag lining is the same polyester as the pouch. Its closure is magnetic and snaps together, so I did not worry about the contents spilling out while using it. The camel-colored base supported the bag well when I put in lots of things.

What kind of look does it create with a long padded coat?

I could feel suede's distinctive soft texture. Switching from the eco bag I carried in winter to this one made my outfit look much warmer, which I liked.

When carried, it fell into a neat V-shaped silhouette. Adding the doll keyring gave it a slightly cuter, more casual feel.

It suddenly turned cold, so I wore a long padded coat to work all week, and this simple bag went well with it.

These days, I carry this as my daily work bag. Even without dressing up much, I like that one bag makes my work outfit feel more put together.

Can it hold an iPad and tumbler together?

I usually carry almost everything—a tumbler, iPad, pouch, and wallet—so I preferred eco bags. All of these belongings fit in the Meda Bag too, and it felt sturdy to carry.

It has plenty of vertical space, and the strap is fairly long too. I liked its silhouette more when I carried it than when it was sitting down, and I used it comfortably with my winter work clothes.
