Saranghao Dalkomhage is an indoor dog café in Pyeongnae-dong, Namyangju, where I spent time with my dog. The non-slip mats and separate seating area for guardians felt comfortable, and my initially shy dog gradually explored and rested; the original post says dogs under 15 kg may use the space.
Baekheukdam is a Korean restaurant on Misa-dong-ro in Hanam, Gyeonggi, where I had perilla-seed and black-sesame samgyetang before shopping at Starfield. Both bowls had moist chicken and distinct nutty broths; the calm, well-spaced dining room also seemed suited to a family meal.
Chodaechang Byeollae Branch is a grilled beef offal restaurant in Namyangju, Gyeonggi, where I ate daechang and teukyang, then finished with kimchi mal-i guksu and fried tripe rice. Staff grilled the meat through to the end, and the two cuts offered nicely contrasting textures, though the fried rice took a little time to arrive.
