After work on a Friday, the writer arrived after 7pm, waited about 30 minutes for a table, and shared 27 plates for two, including flounder sushi, salmon gunkan with garlic sauce, grilled tilapia belly, baby octopus sushi and 2,100-won ramen, for a bill in the 50,000-won range. With fresh fish and easy kiosk ordering, Mikado Sushi Seosan is a sushi spot the writer plans to revisit.

Friday dinner at a Dangjin BBQ buffet, eel to naengmyeon: Myeongnyun

Myeongnyun Jinsa Galbi Dangjin Gijisi Branch is a 21,900-won all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ buffet on the 2nd floor of the Dunkin' Donuts building at the entrance to Gijisi in Dangjin, Chungnam. On a Friday at 6pm, the writer grilled two rounds of Myeongnyun Jinsa galbi plus whole pork belly and charcoal-grilled seasoned eel, built a galbi burger and a tortilla wrap, tried the new galbi bun cha (Vietnamese-style noodles with galbi), and finished with naengmyeon (Korean cold noodles, 5,900 won). By the time they left, Myeongnyun Jinsa Galbi Dangjin Gijisi Branch was full with three parties waiting, a busy family dinner spot.
