Osong butcher-shop BBQ: German-aged pork and cold noodles, Hanmaeum
Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Osong 2 Sandan Branch is a butcher-shop-style Korean BBQ restaurant on the 3rd floor of Yeonggwang Plaza in Osong, Cheongju. A couple ordered the half pig, 500g for ₩40,000, and grilled five cuts — samgyeopsal, ogyeopsal, mokdeungsal (pork neck), hangjeongsal (pork jowl) and gabrisal — which stayed tender even cut thick, as promised by the restaurant's certified German MFG aging technology. With 12 side dishes, a self-serve bar and a ₩7,000 mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup) to finish, Hanmaeum left nothing missing from the meal.
