Danyang restaurant with a 15-minute weekend wait: Heukmaneul Boribap
Heukmaneul Boribap is a barley rice (boribap) and black garlic Korean restaurant near Gugyeong Market in Danyang, Chungbuk. Arriving around 2pm on a weekend, we signed the waitlist, waited about 15 minutes, then used the table tablet to order two jeyuk boribap (spicy pork and barley rice) set meals, one extra plate of suyuk (boiled pork), and Dangoeul Sobaeksan makgeolli. Five kinds of namul, a soybean paste stew with blue crab, and sweet black garlic pork made Heukmaneul Boribap a filling late lunch.
