Resting07 is at 2F, 67 Dongseong-ro 3-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu. It's open from 11:30 to 21:00, with last order at 20:20. For parking, you can use a nearby public parking lot.

On a weekday morning we came to Dongseong-ro for a date, parked in a nearby public lot, and decided to have lunch first at Resting07, known as a go-to date spot in Dongseong-ro, and then go shopping.

Resting07 is a pasta place on the 2nd floor of a building near Spark Land in Dongseong-ro. I actually visited with friends when it first opened, and I remember the atmosphere being really nice even then. I thought it would be great for a date, and coming here with Dochi was so good.

Once you go up to the 2nd floor, Resting07 is right there.

The moment you walk into Resting07, the bright white-wood interior opens up in front of you. Maybe because it's so bright, it's the perfect vibe for a date? They say that in the evening the lighting makes it cozier and more atmospheric, so I'll have to come back for dinner sometime.

There were quite a lot of tables. There are about 6 tables in the hall, plus 3 more room tables. With separate room-style spaces like that, Resting07 is honestly perfect for a Dongseong-ro date!

We didn't even hesitate and took the one room that was left. It's cozy and so nice. It looked like it could seat about 6 people, so it seemed good for get-togethers too.

Resting07 menu, events and what we ordered

Resting07 has a wide variety of dishes and the prices are really on the cheap side. With the review event you can get one item such as a drink, salad or corn cheese, and there's a birthday event too.

Warm and crisp from the very first bread, it puts you in a good mood.

Is the food at Resting07 fast, and are the portions generous?

The food at Resting07 came out quickly, all at once, without a long wait. As the one taking the photos, I was really happy about it all arriving together like that.

With prices this low I thought the portions would be small, but for the price there's really a lot. And there's plenty of sauce, which was perfect for us since we love sauce.

Steak cream pasta: cooked steak and grilled mushrooms

The steak cream pasta is one of Resting07's signature dishes. Beautifully grilled steak is piled generously on the side of the cream pasta.

There's plenty of sauce, so it soaks nicely into all of the noodles, and the noodles were cooked just right.

First of all, the sauce isn't salty and isn't too heavy, just right. The steak was cooked really well too. Nothing was overcooked, so it was tender with a great texture.

Putting a piece of steak on the pasta like this and eating them together is so good. What a combination.

And the cute mushrooms on top, I wonder if they were grilled beforehand, because they were the real kicker. We each picked one up, ate it, and instantly looked at each other!

Toowoomba chicken risotto: slightly spicy and thick

The Toowoomba chicken risotto is another of Resting07's best sellers. Since we'd ordered a cream pasta, I figured we needed something a little spicy, so we got this, and it was a very good choice.

The chicken on top was grilled really well, and the spice level is exactly what Dochi likes. This sauce was seriously so good.

The thickness is just right. The grains of rice stay distinct, so the texture doesn't turn mushy, if that makes sense? That's why it holds the sauce so well.
