Ppwang Mulhoe is a seafood restaurant right in front of Yeongildae Beach in Pohang, Gyeongbuk, serving mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) with a free self bar. Arriving at 10:15am, before the 10:30 opening, meant no wait, while the line outside started at 11am; the squid and flounder half-and-half mulhoe came with an especially generous, fresh portion of raw fish, backed by fried squid and squid soup. For a weekend visit to Ppwang Mulhoe, getting there before opening was the smartest move.
