Haeundae café salt bread butter cave and americano to go: Low & Sweet

After a great lunch in Haeundae, I headed to Haeri-dan-gil to grab some simple bread and coffee to go. It had been a while since I'd visited Haeri-dan-gil, and it was packed with people. A completely different vibe from Gyeongju's Hwangridan-gil.
Where is Low & Sweet Bakery? The white building by Haeundae Station Exit 4
Low & Sweet Bakery is the cute white building you run into walking from Haeundae Station Exit 4. Even from a distance you could see it was full of customers. It's apparently known for its salt bread and egg tarts — no wonder it's popular!
Parking is free at spots 41 and 42, dedicated to Low & Sweet right in front of the café. If those are taken, you'll need to use the nearby public parking lot for a fee.
Before going in, there's this cute little spot outdoors next to the café, so I snapped a photo.

The first thing that caught my eye was, of course, the delicious-looking bakery desserts.

Low & Sweet drink menu and free milk for kids
Here's the menu at Low & Sweet, the egg tart favorite near Haeundae Station. Americano ₩5,500, latte ₩6,300, cortado ₩6,000. The cortado is apparently the small, strong milk coffee common in New York, made with equal parts espresso and milk. You can switch to decaf for +₩500.
Kids' drinks — milk or vanilla milk — are free! The homemade lemonade at ₩6,800 is made with freshly squeezed lemon juice and lemon peel syrup plus sparkling water, while the matcha latte at ₩6,800 uses 100% Jeju-grown matcha of the highest ceremonial grade. The Bellocq tea at ₩6,800 is from a Brooklyn, New York organic herbal tea brand. It's a really nice café to visit with a baby.
Today's drip coffee is Colombia, ₩7,000.
You could also smell and buy the coffee beans.
Seating at Low & Sweet: 5–6 indoor tables plus outdoor seats
While waiting for our order, I looked around and saw there were more tables outside. If the weather were cooler, it'd be a great spot to sit outside with a coffee.
Inside was so crowded I couldn't really take photos, but there were about 5–6 tables.
We got our packaged pastries first, and the americano came out quickly too. The straw was so thin, which was kind of funny haha. Cute.
How does the salt bread taste? The bottom is pure butter
We were about to leave with our takeout, but our little one spotted the bread. A baby inspecting what mom bought.
Decided to give her just a bit of the salt bread first haha. The moment I saw this salt bread, I knew it would be delicious — and sure enough, it was.
It had a proper butter cave, so you could really feel the butteriness. Especially the bottom of the salt bread — pure butter itself. Amazing with coffee...! The americano used good quality beans too, with a nice balance of acidity and nuttiness.
I gave her pieces avoiding the salty bits, and she loved it, eating happily. Kept asking for more... even though she'd already had lunch...
Eating the egg tarts at home: should have bought more
I was too full for the egg tart, so I tried it once I got home, and wow... it was so good I was genuinely surprised. Should have bought more... I really should have. It's a shame it's only in Busan. Next time I travel to Busan, I'll definitely stop by again and buy more.
The filling inside was generous, the pastry thin and crispy, with a deep buttery flavor — absolutely delicious. This is the kind of taste you want to buy in bulk, freeze, and take out one precious tart a day.
The salt bread, the egg tart, the coffee — all fully satisfying! The other desserts are probably delicious too. Low & Sweet, the dessert favorite on Haeri-dan-gil in Haeundae, is a café I'll definitely visit again. No wonder it was packed with people... now I get it.
