Gyeongju café with twice-baked apple pies: Gyeongju Tokyo Pie
Gyeongju Tokyo Pie is a bakery café in Hwangnidan-gil, Gyeongju, known for whole-apple pies and gift sets. At 2:30 p.m. on a weekday, the display was nearly empty, so I chose a mixed set; the crisp pastry and not-too-sweet apple flavor were especially good. Verdict: Gyeongju Tokyo Pie is worth buying two boxes from when you need a gift.
