Sawol, Daegu hair salon fixing two-tone gray roots: Bless Hair
In short
Bless Hair is a one-person hair salon in Suseong, Daegu, between Sawol Station and Jeongpyeong Station. The writer's earlier deep black dye had left a two-tone line against new gray regrowth. At Bless Hair the owner checked the color chart and chose dark brown black for a gray root touch-up, then trimmed the bangs and length and finished with a blow-dry. Every gray hair was covered and the hair felt softer, making it a very satisfying visit.

Why I got gray root dye at Bless Hair in Sawol-dong, Daegu
I just got gray root dye at Bless Hair (블레스헤어), a hair salon in Sawol-dong, Daegu! Within just three weeks the grays shoot up along my hairline and crown, and every time I looked in the mirror they bugged me. Now they're neatly gone, and I'm so happy these days!
A full dye job is tough on hair and scalp, but leaving the roots alone just looked messy, and I was stuck. Root-only gray dye was honestly the perfect answer.

What discounts does Bless Hair offer?
Bless Hair gives first-time customers ₩5,000 off and a nutrition treatment, and on weekday mornings you can get 20% off morning perms and dye. Thanks to that, I got a happy makeover at a reasonable price.
If gray hair bothers you but cost or hair damage has made you hesitate, I hope you won't miss out on these generous deals.

Bless Hair's atmosphere, location and parking
Bless Hair is a cozy one-person salon between Sawol Station and Jeongpyeong Station, and you can use the parking lot of the shopping complex. Inside, it was really tidy, and since it's a cute, charming one-person salon, I didn't have to worry about other customers and could enjoy a relaxing time all to myself.
Being between Sawol Station and Jeongpyeong Station makes it easy to reach by public transport, and with the complex's parking lot I had no parking worries at all.

Looking at the pretty flowers on the wall lifted my mood even before the treatment, and it felt healing all by itself. The fatigue and stress from childcare and work seemed to melt away along with the scent of flowers, and I was so happy the whole time I was there.

They even run a discounted haircut program for customers aged 70 and over, and you can really feel the owner's warm consideration and kind heart toward every guest. It's such a lovable place.

Gray roots turned two-tone after black dye: what color did I choose?
The owner of Bless Hair did my gray root dye in dark brown black so it would blend naturally with my existing black dye. At that point quite a lot of gray had grown in along my hairline and crown, and since I had previously dyed my hair a deep black, the line where the new growth began looked vague and easily turned into a messy two-tone.
But after carefully assessing my hair, the owner didn't just cover it with something dark. She checked a color chart and suggested a refined dark brown black that would connect smoothly with my current color. She applied the dye very carefully along the hairline and roots, and with her skilled hands keeping it off the skin around my face, I had no stinging or itching and felt very comfortable.

During the treatment she even looked after me with warm tea and tasty cookies so my mouth wouldn't get bored, and the waiting time felt as relaxed and fun as a trip to a café.

Rinse, shampoo, scalp massage and scalp pack
At Bless Hair, the rinse and shampoo step also comes with a scalp massage and scalp pack, and I was genuinely amazed! While she washed my hair thoroughly, the firm, refreshing massage and the scalp pack made all the built-up tiredness in my head vanish in one go. It felt incredibly refreshing.

How did the gray root dye turn out?
The result I'd worried about was a total success. The dye came out so well! It blended naturally with my existing hair and covered every single gray hair, so I smiled every time I looked in the mirror. The treatment at Bless Hair in Sawol-dong, Daegu, was far better than I expected!

Along with the root dye, she also lightly trimmed my bangs and overall length, and from the color blending to the lighter hairstyle, it turned out so well that I fell for it twice. My hair wasn't damaged at all, either; it's actually softer and more moisturized than before, and I feel happy every time I touch it.

To finish, she blow-dried it with pretty volume that suited my style perfectly. I loved it, and the moment I looked in the mirror it was a real everyday mood boost that put a spring in my step.

Is Bless Hair worth visiting again?
Both the skill and the friendly service were perfect, so I recommend Bless Hair in Sawol-dong, Daegu. If you need a real everyday mood boost, I strongly recommend stopping by. I'm planning to come back next time for a straightening perm (maegik)!
