Today I'm introducing Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch (을지포차 구로디지털점), a Gudi Station bar with retro pocha (Korean street-tent pub) vibes near Guro Digital Complex Station 🍻 It's great for a casual drink after work, and the atmosphere was perfect for a company dinner too! The food is good and there's so much to do, so I had an absolutely wonderful time >____<

Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch is 198 m from Exit 2 of Guro Digital Complex Station, a 3-minute walk 🚶🚶‍♀️ It's open daily from 17:00 to 06:00, last order is at 05:00, and there's no parking.

It's in the Gudi Kkalkkal-geori area, so it was easy to find, and the location is just right if you're looking for a bar near Gudi Station!

What is the retro atmosphere like at Eulji Pocha?

From the entrance, Eulji Pocha oozes old-school vibes ✨ The moment you walk in, it's a full-on retro pocha feeling!

Just like a proper Gudi Station bar, it was already packed with customers ➰ The place stretches way, way back, so I think it would work well for office dinners or group gatherings! I think it's the biggest bar I've ever been to..? 🫪

It feels like they moved the old-time charm of the Euljiro alleys right in 💭 Definitely a retro concept, right???? It's an event pocha where you can fully enjoy that pocha-style mood.

Can you request songs at the Eulji Pocha DJ booth?

Eulji Pocha has a DJ booth called 'Jongno Record' where you can write out a story and request a song! It has a proper DJ pocha feel 🎶

You order by tablet at Eulji Pocha, and the menu is varied: soups, main dishes, sides and desserts. It's a Gudi Station bar that seems great for round one, or for a light bite at round two.

Seriously.. there are so many delicious dishes that I can't decide ㅠㅅㅠ I definitely came to eat lightly, but looking at the menu I just couldn't resist!!!!! 🐷 So what I picked was red odeng (fish cake) for ₩19,000 and yuringi (fried chicken with scallion-vinegar sauce) for ₩17,000!

The complimentary daerong gwaja (hollow tube snacks)! They're a nostalgic snack so I kept reaching for them ➰ Even this is totally on the retro concept, huh..haha

Should you order red odeng and yuringi together?

This combo of Eulji Pocha red odeng + yuringi was honestly crazy good,, 🤤 Spicy odeng plus crispy yuringi, highly recommend the combo!!

Red odeng, ₩19,000: 8 fish cake skewers in a spicy broth

The red odeng at Eulji Pocha is spicy-sweet and comes with a whopping 8 odeng skewers! 🍢 The broth is a bit like tteokbokki sauce, but with plenty of chili peppers and chili powder, so it's fiery yet keeps you coming back,, 🌶️✨ With just this, the drinks go down so easily >.<

It's also packed with bean sprouts, so the crunchy texture was great too!

Yuringi, ₩17,000: crispy batter and thick chunks of meat

The yuringi at Eulji Pocha is crunchy-crunchy! It looks delicious from the first glance, right~?~??~ Good as a meal and totally recommended as drinking food too!! 🍻

When you eat the yuringi with the tangy sauce and lettuce... that's it ^ㅠ^ The meat inside was thick and there was plenty to eat!!!
