Yeonnam-dong café: fruity Anaya vs chocolatey Volcanes, Central Site
In short
Central Site Yeonnam is a Yeonnam-dong café on the main Yeonhui-ro road in Mapo, Seoul, known for hand-drip coffee and tiramisu. The writer compared two iced hand drips, Colombia Anaya Omblígon Washed (11,000 won) and Guatemala Entre Volcanes 2026 Washed (8,000 won), alongside a classic tiramisu (8,500 won): the Anaya was sweet-tart and fruity, while the Entre Volcanes was nutty, full-bodied and chocolatey. Finding Central Site Yeonnam and its exterior
Central Site Yeonnam is right on the Yeonhui-ro main road, so it wasn't hard to find. "CENTRAL SITE" is written in white on the glass wall and tiramisu posters line the window, so even from far away you can tell this Yeonnam-dong café is known for dessert (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Inside Central Site Yeonnam: the mood and the window seats
The interior pairs white concrete walls with black window frames, vintage but clean. Looking in from outside, hand-drip tools sit in a row under soft yellow lighting, so the mood was great even before I went in. Inside, the white concrete and black window frames feel vintage yet tidy (◍´꒳`◍)

By the window there's a long bar table with brown leather high chairs in a row. Through the glass you see lots of green trees, and sitting there in daytime natural light was one of the most healing seats among Yeonnam-dong cafés. It looks good for laptop work too, so coming alone to spend some time seems fine :)
It's a spacious three-floor space and I saw it also has a rooftop, so next time I want to look around the other floors.

Central Site Yeonnam menu and prices
I ordered two kinds of hand-drip beans and a classic tiramisu at Central Site Yeonnam that day.
- Classic tiramisu ₩8,500
- Colombia Anaya Omblígon Washed ₩11,000
- Guatemala Entre Volcanes 2026 Washed ₩8,000
The menu lists strawberry, lemon candy, peach and apricot notes for Anaya, and hazelnut, butterscotch and milk chocolate for Entre Volcanes, so it's easy to choose to your taste ⸜(๑'ᵕ'๑)⸝

Hand-drip brewed cup by cup at the bar
When you order, drippers are lined up at the bar and each cup is brewed by hand (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و Watching them put the server on a scale, check the numbers and pour the water slowly, I could tell this Yeonnam-dong café is serious about coffee.

Anaya vs Entre Volcanes: how did they taste different?
Colombia Anaya was sweet-tart and fruity, while Guatemala Entre Volcanes was nutty and heavy, with a chocolate feel. The drinks and tiramisu came together on a black tray. The coffee was in glasses with big chunks of ice, and under each glass sat a small card with the bean name (♡´艸`) The cards said "ANAYA" and "ENTRE VOLCANES" so I knew right away which was which, and a fork was included, so I could sit down and dig in.

Each coffee had one large ice cube that melts slowly, so it stayed cold to the last sip. Just like the flavor notes on the menu, Anaya came through sweet-tart and fruity, and I loved the nutty, weighty chocolate feel of Entre Volcanes.
Central Site Yeonnam's classic tiramisu
The classic tiramisu (₩8,500) at Central Site Yeonnam was generously dusted with cocoa powder and topped with chocolate pieces.

In cross-section, soft cream and coffee-soaked sponge were stacked in two layers. The cream wasn't too heavy and melted softly, perfect to eat with coffee (。♥‿♥。)

I could see why this Yeonnam-dong café is famous for its tiramisu.
Is Central Site Yeonnam worth a visit?
If you're looking for a Yeonnam-dong café, Central Site Yeonnam is definitely worth a visit. The hand-drip where you choose your beans was good, and the classic tiramisu was tasty too, so it's great for enjoying dessert and coffee together. I'd recommend it as a Yeonnam-dong café for a day you want to rest at a window seat and look at the trees.
Next time I want to try the rooftop and the Lotus tiramisu :) If you're still deciding on a Yeonnam-dong café, stop by Central Site Yeonnam (。♥‿♥。)
