Yesan Market bone-in chicken stir-fry with sausage and cheese: Sijang

Sijang Dakbokkeum (시장닭볶음) is a shishito pepper chicken stir-fry (dakbokkeum) restaurant inside Yesan Permanent Market in Yesan, Chungnam. On a rainy day the writer went back yet again, ordered the bone-in shishito chicken stir-fry with Vienna sausage and cheese added, and ate it in the market square; with every part of a whole chicken in the pan, the portion was huge for two. With its salty, smoky sauce, Sijang Dakbokkeum's stir-fry is best eaten with rice, and it is a spot the writer will stop by on every Yesan Market visit.
