Weekend charcoal pork BBQ with soju-beer and ramyeon: Jeonbotdae
Jeonbotdae Sutbul Ogyeop is a local charcoal-grilled pork restaurant in a residential area of Yongun-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon. On a fully booked weekend evening we ordered a pork assortment platter, kimchi mari guksu (cold kimchi noodle soup) and bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles), grilled the wet-aged pre-seared pork with roasted gim (seaweed), mentaiko mayo and homemade pepper pickles, and finished with dessert ramyeon. Every single side dish tasted homemade, making this a solid recommendation for a Dong-gu, Daejeon dinner spot.
