Low-pH cleansing foam for combination skin: HEEDA Charcoal Foam

How did it feel after 1 week on combination skin?

After finishing my previous low-pH cleansing foam, I used HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Hydrating Cleansing Foam for about 1 week. My skin is combination skin, and I was not dealing with severe acne at the time.

After washing, my skin did not feel very tight, to the point that I did not feel I needed to apply lotion or mist immediately. Before drying with a towel, my skin felt soft and seemed brighter than usual, although that was my personal impression.

How were the lather and feel?

The product came out somewhat thick. Rather than rubbing it without water, I got a better lather by adding plenty of water; the foam felt light and soft rather than dense and heavy. It also did not feel irritating when I massaged it over my face.

How much makeup could it remove?

When I tested it with heavily applied foundation on the back of my hand, using water, it came off in one wash. Light eyeliner on my face also came off at once, but for heavily drawn eyeliner, this product worked better as a second cleanse after using cleansing oil first.

It comes in 150ml, and the expiration date printed on the product I received was May 12, 2027. The packaging stated that eco-friendly materials and vegan soybean oil ink were used, and the tube itself was black, fitting for a charcoal cleansing foam.

Overall, I found it comfortable for its low post-wash tightness and light foam. Rather than trying to remove heavy point makeup in one step, it suited me better as part of a double-cleansing routine.
