While getting ready for a summer holiday in a hot country, I chose the Meda Bag Women's Rattan Shoulder Bag. I got it with resort wear in mind, but tried it first on a trip to the West Sea ahead of my summer plans.

Which rattan bag did I choose for my summer holiday?
This is the bag I picked up while looking over travel accessories after booking my flights and hotel. I love how cool and summery rattan bags look, but for me, they are also bags I can carry comfortably regardless of the season.

This Meda Bag seemed like it would go beautifully with resort outfits. I also liked how it looked when I carried it for photos.

How were the weave and storage layout?
The rattan bag I used before was so floppy that it was inconvenient to pack or carry things in. I was happy that this bag's weave felt sturdy.

It came in brown and beige, and I chose brown.

The zippered opening meant I worried less about my belongings spilling out. The interior lets you separate your things and has plenty of room, so it was great for packing all sorts of travel essentials.

How did it feel on the shoulder in weight and length?
When I carried it myself, it did not feel heavy and sat comfortably on my shoulder. The strap length felt right for me too.

It held a lot while still being easy to carry on my shoulder. The brown color had a calm feel and went naturally with the outfit I wore.

Was it easy to carry my things on a West Sea trip?
With some time left before my summer holiday, I took it first on a weekend trip to the West Sea. All the things I normally carry fit inside, so it was convenient to bring just one bag.

Being able to zip it closed meant less worry about things spilling out, and the divided interior storage let me find what I wanted right away. I was satisfied because it made organizing my belongings easy on the actual trip.

Did it work beyond resort outfits?
I was not wearing a floaty dress on this trip, but the bag still suited my outfit well. I liked how I looked carrying it, so I took lots of photos too.

Its simple design made me think it would be nice to carry with everyday outfits too. Carrying it on my shoulder leaves both hands free and makes storage easy, so I plan to use it now and then in everyday life until my summer trip.
