Dalseo, Daegu Korean restaurant: 6,000-won mushroom side at Hyangtaek
Hyangtaek Seongseo Keimyung University Branch is a Korean restaurant on Hosan-dong-ro 35bukgil in Dalseo-gu, Daegu. On this second visit the order was eggplant doenjang rice bowl (13,000 won), herring roe bibim noodles (13,000 won) and the 6,000-won mushroom platter, eaten wrapped in gopchang gim (thick seaweed) with jeotgal (salted seafood), and the mushroom platter beat the galbi platter. The lunchtime wait at Hyangtaek is still there, but with the right combination it is a Korean meal almost anyone will like.
