Sangnok Hoegwan Yeontan Gui Goseong Branch is a charcoal-grilled pork restaurant at 39 Goseongbuk-ro in Goseong-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu. Two of us dropped in after work and ordered the 600g pork set — samgyeopsal (pork belly), hangjeongsal (pork jowl) and pork skin dipped in soybean powder — then finished with beer and bibim naengmyeon (cold noodles). Between the chewy pork skin and the noisy pocha (street-bar) mood, Sangnok Hoegwan Goseong Branch suits a night out when the main goal is a drink after work.
