Yeonhui-ro takeout bakery with a 3-person entry rule: Mandong Jegwa
Mandong Jegwa Yeonnam Branch is a takeout-only bakery at 32 Yeonhui-ro in Seodaemun, Seoul, known across the Yeonhui-dong and Yeonnam-dong area for its garlic baguette. The interior is small, so a notice asks groups of 3 or fewer to enter at a time, there is no parking, and the garlic baguette has to be requested separately at the register. Of the five breads bought — garlic baguette, kaya coconut, yakbap pound cake (sweet rice cake loaf), bottom bread, and salty soboro — the garlic baguette won, with a moist inside and a sweet-and-salty sauce.
