How did I remove layers of sunscreen after surfing?
When I surf, I tend to layer two or three coats of tinted sunscreen over clear sunscreen, then apply Vaseline as well. So after getting in the water, I would usually cleanse two or three times, but this time I tried the cleansing balm first.
I scooped out the cleansing balm with the scoop included in the box, applied it to my skin, and massaged it until it melted into an oil with my body heat. Even with one use, my skin felt cleaner than usual.
What did the cleansing balm feel like?
When I used it outdoors, the lather felt dense and soft. It rinsed off relatively quickly with water, which was convenient, and my skin felt soft afterward.
In particular, I tend to feel tightness if I do not apply skincare immediately after cleansing, but this time the inner tightness felt less noticeable. The backs of my hands also felt rough after getting a lot of sun while surfing, but they seemed to have a glow after washing.
What was the second cleanse with the cleansing foam like?
The cleansing balm alone seemed to remove most of it, but I used the cleansing foam as a second cleanse to wash away even the small remaining particles. The foam also produced a rich lather, so I could use it as if massaging my skin.
The foam was also dense and soft, and what I liked most was that my skin felt less tight after washing. The scent did not feel artificially strong either.
Is it easy to carry?
The size did not feel burdensome, so I thought it would be good to keep in a surfing bag. It also seems convenient to pack and use on days when I go far from home and need to shower at a surf shop.
