What are the texture and components of HEEDA charcoal cleansing balm like?

HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm was a 100ml black cleansing balm. Because the formula contains Jirisan charcoal, it looked charcoal-black, and it scooped up softly without running.

When I opened the lid, the spoon was placed on top of the protective cover. It could be stored in the groove in the lid, so I did not have to look for the spoon separately while using it.

How did I use it to remove makeup?

I scooped some out with the spoon and applied it evenly to my dry face, then massaged in circular motions, focusing on my makeup and around my pores. The formula melted softly against my skin’s warmth and massaged on smoothly.

Because the formula was black, I could distinguish between areas where I had applied it and areas I had not, which made it easier to check my whole face while cleansing. When I tested it on the back of my hand, I could also see a difference in brightness between the applied and unapplied areas.

What did it feel like when rinsing with water?

I added water without wiping it off first with a tissue. With lukewarm water, the formula emulsified into gray and melted away with the makeup. I used lukewarm or warm water rather than cold water for rinsing.

The black formula let me visually check the areas I needed to cleanse as I massaged it in.
