Braised galchi at lunch peak: Daedong Korean Buffet, Yongin
Daedong Korean Buffet & Dosirak is a Korean buffet restaurant that recently opened in Yangji-eup, Yongin, Gyeonggi. Visiting during the lunch peak, the writer piled a tray with jeyuk-bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork), dakgangjeong (Korean fried chicken), braised galchi (hairtail fish) and janchi-guksu (banquet noodles), then finished with rice cake, sikhye and coffee. With parking for about 50 cars and roughly 200 seats, it's an easy, no-fuss meal for families or anyone passing through on the highway.
