Solo handmade burgers near Sinnonhyeon Station: Wit N Meat Gangnam
In short
Wit N Meat Gangnam is a handmade burger restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul, about 5 minutes on foot from Exit 4 of Sinnonhyeon Station. Dining solo, I ordered the shrimp jambon (ham) burger on its own and the Almighty burger set with the fries switched to chipotle fries; the homemade brioche buns and patties big enough to spill past the bun stood out. With a bar table and power outlets, Wit N Meat Gangnam is an easy pick for eating alone or getting a little work done.

Location and hours for Wit N Meat Gangnam
I visited Wit N Meat's Sinnonhyeon location at 32 Gangnam-daero 110-gil, 1st floor, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Sinnonhyeon Station, so it was easy to get to, and if you're driving, valet parking is available through Vita Cafe right in front of the restaurant, which made the visit convenient.
Hours are 11am to 9pm, with a break time from 3:30pm to 5pm and last order at 8pm.

Atmosphere and seating — good for solo dining or a date
The moment I walked into Wit N Meat Gangnam, it felt like an American delicatessen. I've never actually been to one, but it had that exotic charm that made me feel like I'd stepped into a famous American burger joint.
The main hall has comfortable sofa seats, good for a date, along with a bar table that's great for solo dining. The high table made eating easy and the chairs felt sturdy, so the layout wasn't awkward even for a solo visit.
Going further inside, there's also a private room down a half-flight of stairs, which seemed good for anyone wanting a quiet, cozy meal.

Kiosk ordering, lunch combos, and side swap options
Ordering was easy through the kiosk, and there's a lunch combo menu, so visiting during lunch hours lets you eat a bit more economically.
Drinks weren't limited to zero-sugar cola and cider — there was also Fanta, Budweiser, and coffee. French fries could be swapped for cheese fries or chipotle fries for an extra charge, and there were options to add toppings or remove ingredients to suit your taste.

Self-serve bar and amenities
There's a restroom inside the restaurant, so you don't need to go elsewhere, and it's cleanly separated by gender.
Once your food comes out, you grab whatever cutlery and sauces you need from the self-serve bar, which also had wet wipes and disposable gloves.
I like to wash my hands before eating, and there was a sink right next to the self-serve bar, which was convenient.

The seats toward the back were open, so I ate quietly and comfortably by myself, and there were outlets too, which seemed good for charging devices while doing a bit of light work.
I ordered the shrimp jambon burger on its own, the Almighty burger set, a zero-sugar cider, and chipotle fries.

How were the chipotle fries?
I tried the fries first before they got cold, and switching to chipotle added a sauce flavor that made them more enjoyable to eat than regular fries.

Shrimp jambon burger — generous coleslaw pairing
The burger came with cutlery, so I could cleanly cut it in half, which is great for sharing with a friend and trying several menu items together.
The shrimp jambon burger I tried first is made with a homemade brioche bun, jambon (ham), whole shrimp, coleslaw, romaine, and bisque sauce.
What stood out was how generous the coleslaw portion inside the jambon burger was — it worked so well together that I didn't feel the need to order more on the side. Wit N Meat also sells coleslaw and carrot rapée separately, so you can add them according to your taste.

Almighty burger — the pick for a first visit
The Almighty burger comes loaded with a brioche bun baked fresh every morning, a 100% beef patty, bacon, tomato, romaine, American cheese, red onion, and more.
I thought this was the best menu item to try for a first visit to Wit N Meat to get a sense of its basic charm, and I'd recommend it if you want that fundamental handmade burger taste.
The patty in particular was so thick it stuck out past the bun, and the crunch of the raw onion paired well with the savory cheese for a proper handmade burger feel.
The portion was generous and filling, making it a solid choice for a solo meal.

It's comfortable for solo dining but also has the right atmosphere for a date or a visit with friends, so if you're looking for a proper handmade burger near Sinnonhyeon, give Wit N Meat a try!
