Squid minari pancake and hot pots for a family meal: Okdengjang
Okdengjang Seohyeon Branch is a Korean restaurant near Seohyeon Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, serving doenjang (soybean paste) hot pot and boiled pork hot pot. Visiting late on a weekend with family, the writer ordered squid minari (water celery) pancake, beef pork belly doenjang hot pot, and a small mixed boiled pork hot pot for a full spread. On a day craving hot soup, pairing the hot pots with the squid minari pancake made for a very satisfying meal.
