Dongjak udon restaurant weekday dinner with spicy gyudon: Kosi Isu

Kosi Isu Branch is a house-made udon and tonkatsu restaurant on the 1st floor of Isu Xi Apartment, about 100m from Isu Station Exit 9 in Dongjak, Seoul. On a weekday early evening, two diners ordered the toriten bukkake udon set (with tempura), a spicy gyudon (beef rice bowl) side and a Pepsi Zero for 27,500 won, and inari sushi plus side dishes made it plenty for two. Chewy house-made noodles, light toriten and a mild spicy gyudon make Kosi Isu Branch worth a return trip for the tonkatsu.
