Hyoeunok Gyeongju Branch is a hanok-style restaurant specializing in whole-cow hot pot on Bukgun 3-gil near Bomun-danji in Gyeongju. On the last night of their trip, a couple arrived at 5pm on a weekday, right after break time, took an inner private room and ordered the signature Ppyeoberest mountain beef bone hot pot, then finished the leftover broth with shabu-shabu beef, kalguksu noodles and gondre porridge for a five-course meal. The serving is almost too much for two, broth and side dishes can be refilled, and Hyoeunok is an easy dinner pick near Bomun-danji.
