Gyeongju mochi café eaten at a highway rest stop: Tareudang
Tareudang is a takeout fruit mochi shop on Hwangnidang-gil in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk. Arriving on a Monday at 12:20pm, the writer waited about 10 minutes, bought peach yogurt, mango yogurt, gold kiwi and fresh chocolate mochi with 500 won off each for buying four, packed them in a cooler bag, and ate the chocolate and peach yogurt mochi at a highway rest stop on the drive to Seoul. The fruit was sweet and the rice cake thin enough not to mask it, making Tareudang mochi a good takeout snack for the last day of a Gyeongju trip.
