Pohang Mundeok conveyor sushi: gamtaeuni and grilled yukhoe sushi
Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap (호주에서온회전초밥) is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant that opened a few months ago in Mundeok, Ocheon-eup, in Pohang's Nam-gu, where every plate costs a flat 2,200 won. On a weekday evening with a younger sibling and a child, the writer picked gamtaeuni (seaweed-topped sea urchin sushi), shrimp tempura maki, yukhoe (raw beef) sushi and avocado gravlax salmon sushi, and the grilled yukhoe sushi was the best of the lot. With no plate colors to add up, Hojueseo on Hoejeon Chobap works just as well for a family dinner as for a meal alone.
