Gyodong Naiba Hutto (교동 네이바훗도) is a yakitori izakaya at Gongpyeong Intersection in Gyodong, Jung-gu, Daegu, modeled on the street food stalls along Fukuoka's Nakasu River. The writer ordered the 7-skewer yakitori + yakisoba set (31,000 won) and added chicken knee cartilage, asparagus-wrapped pork belly and cucumber salad; the ginger-scented sweet-and-salty yakisoba and the charcoal-smoky knee cartilage and chicken skin stood out. Verdict: at Gyodong Naiba Hutto, the yakitori set with yakisoba, plus extra tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) and knee cartilage, was the most satisfying combination.
