Bossam set with pork jowl for one at Uldong Bossam, Daegu
Uldong Bossam is a bossam (boiled pork wrap) restaurant on Gyeongsanggamyeong-gil in Jung-gu, Daegu, right next to the Dongin government building. Eating alone after work, the writer ordered the bossam set meal with extra meat plus a minari (water dropwort) pancake for 9,000 won; the extra-meat version brings pork belly bossam and pork jowl (gabrisal) with doenjang stew and side dishes, making a full one-person spread. With a bar table set aside for solo diners, Uldong Bossam is an easy place to eat bossam by yourself in downtown Daegu.
