Gyeongju restaurant for garlic Chinese-sauce cutlet: Midam Kitchen
Midam Kitchen is a Western restaurant in an alley off Hwangnidang-gil in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk. Two of us ordered the beef risotto at 15,900 won and the kkanpung pork cutlet at 15,900 won, and finished both: a garlicky sweet-and-sour Chinese sauce over the cutlet and a risotto with cheese that stretched with every spoonful. On Hwangnidang-gil, where good value is famously hard to find, Midam Kitchen is worth the stop for proper Western food.
