Braised rib set with wine cellar in a hanok room: Pyeongtaek
Suksudaega is a hanok-style Korean restaurant in Anjung-eup, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi. Visiting on a weekday with her husband, the writer had the wangalbijjim jeongsik (braised short rib set) course for two in a private room, from the yueng and dongchimi to hanwoo tteokgalbi and slow-cooked galbijjim, and was especially struck by the wine cellar stocked with Dom Pérignon and Cristal. A great pick for a special-occasion meal that pairs Korean set dining with wine.
