Korean restaurant in Chowol, Gwangju: hot-pot rice set at Bomseol
Bomseol (봄설) is a riverside Korean set-meal restaurant in Chowol-eup, Gwangju, Gyeonggi, running under a new name in the space that used to be Gangminju's Deulbap. The ₩15,000-per-person Bomseol Set brings braised kodari (dried pollack), cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew), hot-pot rice and master-chef side dishes, with barley rice you can help yourself to as often as you like. Bomseol is hard to reach without a car, yet the wide hall filled up as 6pm approached — a table that suits a couple's dinner and a family gathering alike.
