Bossam with mandu and egg porridge finish at a Seongnam restaurant
Bossam Ae Kalguksu Seongnam Sangdaewon Branch is a bossam (boiled pork wrap) and kalguksu (hand-cut noodle soup) restaurant on the main road in Sangdaewon-dong, Seongnam, Gyeonggi. Ordering a small gabrisal bossam for two brought two servings of kalguksu and rice free, and adding two mandu (dumpling) dumplings plus a raw egg turned the leftover broth into egg porridge. The bossam arrived a bit cold, but dipping it back in the hot broth revived its moisture, making for a satisfying, budget-friendly lunch.
