How did it feel after washing very dry skin?
I have very dry skin that becomes red, itchy, or tight when a cleansing product is even slightly too strong. After using a HEEDA cleansing balm, I tried this foaming cleanser for the first time as well.
It did not leave absolutely no tightness after washing, but it felt much more comfortable than other products I have tried. I usually apply toner or ampoule immediately after cleansing, but after using this product, my skin felt relatively comfortable.
Could I use it alone on days I wore only sunscreen?
I often go out wearing only sunscreen rather than makeup, and on those days I washed with this product alone instead of using cleansing oil too. I usually cleanse thoroughly twice because I dislike any residue, but by my standards, using this alone felt sufficient.
Rather than being especially voluminous, the lather came up creamy. It did not leave a squeaky-clean finish, and it felt as though it turned into finer bubbles the more I massaged it in.
Did this charcoal cleansing foam feel drying?
The product information listed Jirisan true charcoal, activated charcoal, and a seven-layer hyaluronic acid moisturizing formula. I worried that a product containing charcoal might be drying, but afterward my skin felt supple and soft. It did not feel as though my skin was flaking, either.
What did I think of the scent and packaging?
The scent was subtle, clean, and close to fragrance-free. Strong artificial fragrances tend to tire me out, so this did not feel burdensome to use. I also liked the black packaging on my bathroom shelf.
Did I notice changes in sebum or blackheads?
I often get sebum around the sides of my nose and chin. I did not feel that my blackheads noticeably decreased after using it, but I had the impression that my overall skin tone looked clearer. I did not break out, and my skin texture seemed more refined.
Would I keep using it?
At 150ml, I felt that it did not run out quickly even when used morning and night. Considering its cleansing feel, post-wash comfort, and scent, I plan to keep using it. However, it is not a product that leaves no tightness at all after washing.
