Women's workout set for weight training: Everlast Running Crew
In short
Everlast Women's Running Crew Jacket + Bootcut Pants Set is a women's workout outfit tested at the gym in Korea. I wore the slim running jacket and high-waisted bootcut pants for weights, treadmill sessions, and the stepmill; they stretched well for squats and lunges without clinging badly after sweating. Verdict: a comfortable coordinated set with a flattering bootcut fit.

This is the Everlast Women's Running Crew Jacket + Bootcut Pants Set I've been wearing often at the gym lately. Wearing the running jacket and bootcut pants together was convenient because I did not have to think separately about how to style them. Here are my thoughts on how they felt while working out, from weights to the treadmill and stepmill.
What are the design and fabric feel of the set like?
At first, the color and sporty logo detail caught my eye. Under the gym lighting, it had a subtle sheen, and the fabric felt sturdy too.

How do the running jacket and bootcut pants feel to wear?

They felt soft and fluid against my skin. They had a close, body-hugging feel while still stretching well when I moved.

The running jacket was nice to wear when the gym air-conditioning was strong or when I had not warmed up yet. It was not too thick or stuffy, and its slim fit followed my body line. I also liked the neckline when I zipped it all the way up.
The pants are high-waisted, so they held my midsection securely. Thanks to the bootcut shape that flares below the knee, my calf line showed less, which felt less daunting for me than leggings.
Was it uncomfortable during squats and lunges?
The fabric stretched well even during movements with big lower-body motion, such as squats and lunges. While I worked out, I could move without worrying that it would become see-through or tear, and there was barely any feeling that the knees had stretched out. Even for lat pulldowns with my arms raised high, the jacket stayed in place without riding up.
What was it like once I sweated during cardio?
I sweated quite a lot on the treadmill and stepmill. While wearing it, the sweat seemed to dry quickly, and the clothes did not cling uncomfortably to my body, so they felt pleasant. The jacket also felt airy, so it was not especially stuffy during indoor workouts.
How did the fit look in the mirror?

When I took photos in front of the full-length gym mirror, the bootcut line made my legs look longer. The jacket's waist seam also made my waist look slimmer. Friends even asked what brand it was, and the overall design looked neat to me too.
How did it hold up after washing, and why did I keep reaching for it?

After I machine-washed it, it kept its sturdy feel without losing its shape. The stretchy fabric for working out, body-hugging fit, and bootcut shape that showed less of my calf line are why I kept wearing it often. This may be a useful wear experience to refer to if leggings feel daunting to you or you are looking for a light jacket to wear at the gym.
