Eulji Darak always serves such nicely arranged plates.

The seating is neat too! We sat at a table for two. There are more seats further inside, haha.

There's a review event for customers who follow the restaurant's notifications. Today I ordered the Darak Omurice, the flat carbonara and the katsu sando. Haha.

Is the Darak Omurice really that soft?
The Darak Omurice (₩17,000) at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station combines soft egg, a sweet sauce and mild fried rice. That silky yellow omelet really catches your eye. ^^ The first cut is the most exciting part!! When you slice into the soft egg, it spreads out all fluffy, hahaha. Scoop it up together with the rich rice underneath and wow... this combo is the best!

The Darak Omurice here is the best omurice I've ever had! The egg is soft, the sauce is sweet, and the fried rice is mild. Haha.

How do you eat the flat carbonara?
The flat carbonara at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station isn't made with regular noodles: it's flat noodles tossed in cream sauce. An egg yolk in the middle and finely chopped bacon on top add a rich, savory flavor.

The smooth cream sauce!! That's exactly why I eat carbonara, and here the bacon adds even more flavor. The staff told us to break the yolk and mix it into the sauce. Sure enough, eating it with the yolk makes it even richer. Haha.

Is the katsu sando too heavy?
The katsu sando (₩12,000) at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is a sandwich with thick cutlet, and the bread and meat together didn't feel heavy at all. Last up is the katsu sando!! The exciting side dish! Can you see it?! That thick meat!! It comes neatly cut, great for taking on a picnic. You can see the cross-section of the cutlet between the soft white bread, so you can already imagine the taste. Haha.

Pork cutlet on its own can be a little heavy, but with the bread it works really well! It's also plated cleanly, so it's a nice dish to share.

Eating it with the side salad and pickles keeps it fresh! Was that coleslaw...? Haha. The look of it... I'm blown away. Honestly, I go there for the katsu sando.

Recommended menu combo at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station
At Eulji Darak Gangnam Station, I really recommend the Darak Omurice and the katsu sando. The katsu sando is so soft and delicious, but my vocabulary is too small to do it justice, which is a shame... Coming with a group and ordering a variety to share, rather than everyone getting the same thing, lets you enjoy lots of flavors. You can pick pasta, rice dishes and a sandwich all together, so the menu has a wide range. ^^

And we can't skip the Coke, right??? Fizzy drinks go so well with Western food. I think the straws are a nice touch: they give you different straws, so even when you share, it's easy to tell whose is whose. Haha.
What occasions suit Eulji Darak Gangnam Station?
I visited Eulji Darak Gangnam Station while looking for a pasta place near Gangnam Station! With all three dishes on the table, each had its own charm: the omurice with its soft, fluffy egg, the flat carbonara with rich cream sauce and unusual noodles, and the katsu sando where bread and meat come together without feeling heavy. The menu is varied and each dish is plated differently, so taking photos during the meal was fun too. ^^
I'd recommend it as a candidate when you're looking for a date spot near Gangnam Station, planning a blind date, or wanting a nice meal with friends. If you want pasta and omurice together near Gangnam Station, give Eulji Darak Gangnam Station a visit!
